Dear PROSAMI friends:

Many, many thanks for your support of our PROSAMI fundraiser dinner on February 7, 2012. The evening was graced with 85 participants from a variety of backgrounds. We had the amazing Kim Briehl vocalist and four of her associates who provided wonderful piano, percussion, and string music. Agnes Kanyanya (our PROSAMI leader) and her family / friends provided gallons and gallons of wonderful homecooked African entrées . Many of our guests went back for seconds, and thirds!

The Raffle event and the Door prizes, organized by Katherine Kirshberger and Jenny Mentore,brought a great deal of attention. We viewed the movie on PROSAMI, which underscores the essence of our PROSAMI mission. There was lively discussion and networking throughout the evening.

Westminster Presbyterian Church was most hospitable. The Fellowship Hall and the well equipped Kitchen was perfect for this PROSAMI venue. All of our proceeds from this event are going directly to support the tuition of our nurse midwife candidates in the Kasai Oriental of the Congo.
